Get Started with a New IHUT Project

Getting started is easy! Add information about the products you’re testing in the Add Products tab then fill in the remaining steps. 

As you complete each step, they'll turn green. When all the steps are complete, the Submit button becomes enabled and you can submit your project for review. Once your project is reviewed and passes quality checks, you’ll be notified and the recruiting for your project will begin.

Add Products

Add the details about the products being tested including:

  • internal product name,
  • tester-facing name (if applicable)
  • whether or not testers should experience products blinded or not
  • ingredients/allergens 

Don't have all of this information just yet? That's ok - just add whatever information you have and come back to complete it when you're ready.

Define Audience

Define all of the specifications of the audience you'd like to test with, including any specific test groups (groups that are delineated by different product assignments and/or different qualifications), qualifications, and/or quotas.

If there are things you want to screen on that aren't part of Highlight's tester profiles, you can outline custom criteria requirements and questions here.

Design Surveys

Each project comes pre-set with the appropriate blueprint and survey design based on the solution you're working in. Add additional surveys from the "Manage Surveys" menu, and customize your surveys using Custom Questions and Modules from the right side menu.

Create Instructions

Let your testers know how you'd like them to complete the study, including step-by-step instructions, specific instructions for each product, and (if applicable) which questions to answer / tasks to complete when recording a video.

Specify Handling & Presentation

Specify how you'd like our warehouse to prepare and ship products to testers, and whether there's anything specific for them to do once the test is over. 

Manage Shipping

Add in shipment details to alert our warehouse and let them know when to expect your product. Without these details entered into the platform, we cannot ensure safe receipt.

We know that you may not have exact shipping info ready at the time of project submission - that's ok! Just enter in a placeholder with any of the details you do have, and come back to update when the information becomes available. You'll be able to submit your project as soon as there's at least one "shipment" added. 

You'll be able to come back and update this information at any time, even after project is submitted / put in progress.
