Tasks

By default, all testers enrolled in an In-Home-Usage-Test will be required to receive and test products shipped to their address. You can specify additional tasks required for your research design in the Define Audience step.

Video Tasks

Use video submissions to bring the consumer voice to life. Video tasks can be up to two minutes long, with maximum three prompts.

In the Define Audience setup step, specify how many participants per Test Group are needed to perform video tasks.

Video task participants will receive instructions about the video task requirements and a survey to submit each video. Document your video task requirements in the Instructions step.

Photo Tasks

Include photo submissions to capture visual details that may not be easily described in text or conveyed through other survey responses.

In the Define Audience setup step, specify how many participants per Test Group are needed to perform photo tasks.

Photo task participants will be asked to upload photos within the surveys they're taking as part of the study. Include photo upload questions and document your photo task requirements within the design of the relevant survey(s).

In Depth Interview (IDI) Tasks

Use in-depth-interviews for exploratory research to uncover rich qualitative insights through flexible and adaptive questioning.

In the Define Audience setup step, specify how many participants per Test Group are needed to perform IDIs. Please work with your customer engagement representative to design the IDI.

Product Return Tasks

In the Define Audience setup step, specify how many participants per Test Group are needed to return products shipped to them.

Document the designated return process in the Instructions step.

A note on ensuring quality...

When you choose to include any of these additional tasks in your research, Highlight will prioritize selecting testers who have demonstrated they execute the task well.
